Six Kickstart Ajo awards were presented at the Quarterly Freeport-McMoRan Community Partnership Panel meeting on June 6 representing over $16,000 in direct support for local businesses.

Six Kickstart Ajo awards were presented at the Quarterly Freeport-McMoRan Community Partnership Panel meeting on June 6 representing over $16,000 in direct support for local businesses. Kickstart Ajo is a multi-agency collaboration among Ajo District Chamber of Commerce, Ajo Center for Sustainable Agriculture, Leadership for Sustainable Communities Cohort, and the International Sonoran Desert Alliance. The program is made possible by funding from Freeport-McMoRan Foundation. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through KickstartAjo.weebly.com online. Applications received by June 15 will be considered for the next award cycle on July 31.
