The Tyrone mine is an open-pit copper mining complex is located in southwestern New Mexico in Grant County, approximately 10 miles south of Silver City, New Mexico. As of December 31, 2011, the operations employed approximately 550 people.
The Chino mine is an open-pit copper mining complex located in southwestern New Mexico in Grant County, approximately 15 miles east of the town of Silver City. As of December 31, 2011, the operations employed approximately 790 people.
